Pentominoes was not an easy puzzle. Was? Yes, because now in Pentominoes V1.00 you can use a helpful function which helps you solve the puzzle.

Here is an excellent new tutorial by Blitz user 'Teasey':

I just wanted to let you guys that I have finished my last (large) Blitz tutorial for everyone to see/read/absorb.
I'm sending this directly to you so that it can be shared with all Blitz-related coders.
This way I hope this tutorial will have at least some use to some more people :)

Icon Games releases the game Snail Racers!

Rio de Janeiro - The game producer Icon Games, responsible for hits like "Virtual Marbles" and "Carioca Detective", just released another game: "Snail Racers", created and developed by José Lucio Mattos da Gama and awarded first place at the Independent Game Festival on 2008 Brazilian Games Simposium (SBGames).

In "Snail Racers", the player controls a charming snail, that participates on a series of races to find out who's the fastest snail in the planet!

The game, in the same style as "Mario Kart", has captivating characters, who during the races can use weapons and traps to try to stop their opponents to win the race.

Some game features (in the full version):

* 12 different tracks to run.
* 2 simultaneos local players, with horizontal split screen.
* 3 game modes: time trial, single race and championship!
* 5 racers (2 unlocked at start) with their own properties.
* 3 championships, and the possibility to create your own!
* Possibility to run WITH or WITHOUT power-ups on the tracks, changing radically the way to play!
* Joystick support, including XBOX 369 joysticks with vibration support.
* Game completely in Portuguse and in English.

The game was presented on 'Rio Game Show' in 2009, on the Noble Room on Convention Center SulAmerica, being a complete success with the public, and can already be download directly from Icon Games website, both in the demo and full versions, in the URL http://www.icongames.com.br/snailracers-en.htm

Earth is a 3D Planet is a very simple asteroid shooting game. Each shot costs a quarter of a second. Destroying asteroids gives you time depending on how fast you are flying.

Close misses and other stunts also pay off. You start with 10 seconds to live. How long can you last?

Free 3d models inspired by Sword Fighters universe

We decided to offer the entire community blitz content Medieval Sword Fighters Pack for free. In this way we will be regularly adding new downloadable content that can be used for projects, demos and games that are programmed with tools Blitz.



This pack contains a good number of buildings and other elements to create cities and medieval villages. All models are low poly done to improve the performance of the games. These models can be used for commercial or personal games and can be modified with the exception of adding these models to anything like a commercial package or add the files to your site for download. You do not need any reference to dreamssoftgames.
